No Soccer?
Did you know the National Sports Center is officially the largest soccer complex in the world? So why is soccer not listed as an official All Sports Camp Week in 2008?
We decided to leave soccer out of the camp format because we know that invariably, soccer is the most popular sport played at camp. Throughout the day, all summer, the vast majority of kids have fun playing soccer in their free time. Soccer is indeed challenging, great exercise, and greatly popular at recess which is why we feel it will remain to be the most popular free play activity at the camp.
If campers would like to focus more on soccer, the NSC Soccer Academy has weekly camps on campus. Let us know ahead of time which week your son or daughter would like to participate in and we will get them to that camp. |
| Minnesota Parent Fair
On Saturday, March 8, the NSC All Sports Camp set up at the Como Park Conservatory for the Minnesota Parent Fair. The Fair was a hit and featured camps from around the metro, from science and magic camps to overnight wilderness and zoo camps. The NSC All Sports Camp was a hit.
