NSC CUP HISTORY

National Sports Center Cup started in 1993 as a way to fill a growing demand for early season tournaments in Minnesota. The tournament started with fewer than 70 teams, mainly from Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa and South Dakota. Since that time, the tournament has grown to over 250 teams and now includes an adult tournament with cash prizes. We've also instituted a college coaches recruiting program to allow players to showcase their talents to college coaches.

One of the unique parts of the tournament is the NSC CUP trophy. This Stanley Cup-style trophy has the names of every player on the championship team engraved and on permanent display in the National Sports Center lobby.
