BLAINE, Minn. (March 14, 2008) – Based upon the positive feedback received from Kick TV, last summer’s daily video journal of Schwan’s USA CUP, presented by Puma, the National Sports Center (NSC) has committed to producing a free year-round weekly video show – NSCtv – premiering on Thursday, March 27.
Aimed at providing insight into the NSC’s varied offerings, NSCtv will offer previews and recaps of events, staff and customer features as well as a behind-the-scenes look at the facility’s operations.
Each show will be approximately 4-6 minutes in duration.
“NSCtv is the latest, and most significant, program in the NSC’s new media initiatives,” said Barclay Kruse, Chief Communications Officer of the NSC. “We are trying to use all the new web-based technologies available to tell the story of what happens here at the NSC.”
A new NSCtv show will be available every Thursday on the official NSC Web site, www.nscsports.org. Each edition will remain online for four weeks so that viewers can also watch on an archived basis.
Once live, the show can be accessed by clicking on the NSCtv link under the “Community” section of the home page.
“The NSC is a diverse, colorful and exciting athletic campus, and we host some of the largest amateur sports events in the world,” Kruse said. “We believe video is the perfect medium to capture the excitement and communicate that atmosphere to the public.”
