SOCCER REFEREE COMPENSATION
2008 Tournament Compensation
Effective April 1, 2008. Payment will be mailed one to two weeks after the tournament or every two weeks during leagues.
Fall/Winter Leagues
All games are 6v6 and play 25 minute halves
- » U17-Adult: $25
- » U15-U16: $22
- » U10-U14: $15
Summer Leagues
All games are all 11v11 and play 40 minute halves

Fall Cup
Tournament plays 25-30 minute halves
- » U13-U14: $25 center, $19 line

Holiday Classic
Tournament plays 20 minute halves

NSC CUP
Tournament plays 25-35 minute halves, with exception of finals.
- » Adults: $35 center, $25 line
- » U17-U19: $27 center, $21 line
- » U15-U16: $26 center, $20 line

- » U11-U12: $21 center, $18 line
- » U10: $18 center
Wal-Mart All American Cup
Tournament plays full-length matches.

Schwan's USA CUP Weekend
Tournament plays 25-30 minute halves, with exception of finals. Referees will be compensated on a per game basis according to the USSF grade schedule. For non-USSF graded referees, a foreign grade equivalent will apply.

- » Grade 5: $25 center, $19 line
- » Grade 6: $24 center, $18 line
- » Grade 7: $23 center, $17 line
- » Grade 8: $22 center, $16 line
Schwan's USA CUP
Tournament plays 25-35 minute halves, with exception of finals. Referees will be compensated on a per game basis according to the USSF grade schedule. For non-USSF graded referees, a foreign grade equivalent will apply.

- » Grade 5: $27 center, $21 line
- » Grade 6: $26 center, $20 line

Schwan's USA CUP Weekend and Schwan' USA CUP referee package also offers subsidized housing/meal options, a referee shirt, a souvenir flipping coin, referee activities including transportation to activities, shuttles on-site to games and free airport transfers.
International Referee Compensation
International referees working any 2008 NSC Soccer Tournament will receive credit based on U.S. referee compensation levels. For Schwan's USA CUP Weekend and Schwan's USA CUP, credits will first be applied to NSC housing and meal expenses. After covering these expenses, any remaining credits may then be applied to travel expenses incurred in coming to the NSC. The NSC is NOT responsible for ANY travel expenses incurred by referees. All referees should be aware that they will have to cover all of their travel expenses.
NSC Residence Hall housing is not available for NSC CUP, Wal-Mart All American Cup, Fall Cup, Challenge Cup, or Holiday Classic tournaments. Please contact the referee coordinator to discuss application of international referee credits. You may email the referee coordinator or call 763-792-7312.
